The national symbol I drew and chose was the three legs from the Isle Of man. I chose this symbol because it looked interesting and the symbol had three funny looking legs.

Farewell Party
On Friday night in Whangarei my aunty prepared a farewell party for me. We had it because I had to go back to Auckland the next day. We had pizza, KFC and stuffing, fizzy drinks and for dessert we had Ice - cream, Chocolate ice - cream cake, mud cake and lollies. After the big feed we watched a movie called ‘Blood The Last Vampire.’
I had been staying at my aunty’s for a week and 4 days. She gave me $40 for an early birthday present. I spent it on shoes and phone credit.

Electricity Is Important
Electricity is important because we would be having cold showers without it and I don’t like cold showers. We use electricity to cook food and to wash our clothes as well. If we had no electricity the food in the fridge will go off and rot too. We also need electricity to have our lights on and see at night. Our phones need charging too. When birds sit on a power line they don’t get shocked because they are not touching the ground. Most People get power cuts because of the bad weather. I just wish power companies fixed the power cuts faster.

Exercise Training
On Wednesday I was doing some exercise training with my cousins and mum. There were 9 stations to go to. The first station was to do as many star jumps as you can. I did 57. The second one was running in and out of the cones. My favourite exercise was doing as many star jumps. We then got into 5 teams and we had to run with a tennis ball placed between our feet and get to the cone and back. After all of those we had to stretch.

Maleficent
On Saturday in the afternoon my cousins, sister, uncle and I went to the movies at Sylvia Park. We looked at the board to see what movie was next. We decided to watch Maleficent. We ordered the large drink and large popcorn and walked to cinema 3. It was about a girl called Maleficent. She was a fairy god mother. A man poisoned Maleficent and cut off her big strong wings. At the end of the film she gets her wings back. I liked her as the fairy godmother.
