Summary:
Taylor Swift has completed an American chart student article record. Taylor has achieved her new song Blank Space which kicked Shake It Off from the number one slot. Taylor Swifts new album 1989 has sold out to 1,287 million copies in its first week alone.

Opinion:

I think Taylor Swift’s new song Black Space is a really cool song and sounds better than Shake It Off. I would like to listen to her new album 1989.

A Force Of Air

Summary:
A group of scientists have created an air umbrella. The air umbrella creates a force of air which is so strong it bounces the rain away from the area above you.

Opinion:

I think the new device would be cool to use. I would like to have one so when it rains I can use it and it wouldn’t break from strong winds. I also think it will become very popular and cost heaps of money.

The New Flavoured Broccoli

Summary:
McDonald’s has created a new flavoured broccoli bubble gum. The bubble gum broccoli was proved that McDonald’s encourage healthy food. Unfortunately the experiment didn’t work.
Opinion:

I think the new flavoured broccoli looks pretty because of it’s colour. I would like to try it because it might just taste like normal bubble gum. Then I’d eat it.

Into The Jungle

Summary:
An bull elephant has killed his trainer in Thailand and run into the jungle with two tourists on his back. The bull elephant was taking the tourists on a tour. The elephant was later found three kilometres away with the two tourists and was still clinging on. The elephant was shot with tranquilizer darts to make him sleepy so he could be rescued.

Opinion:
I think this bull elephant should be killed after what he did to his trainer.

Selling Thousands Of Bones

Summary:
The Government is being caused by the museum manager to stop the sale of Moa bones on websites like trade me.  However the trade me trust and Safety Manager John Duffy has commented that it was legal to sell Moa bones in New Zealand. Some buyers on trade me are selling thousands of bones from the Moa.

Opinion:
I think the Moa bones should be displayed at Auckland Museum instead of trade me so people can see them. If I had Moa bones I’ll sell them for lots of money.

Operating A Short Route

Summary:
For the first time since the 2011 earthquake, the Christchurch Tram will be back up and running making a full loop around the central city. The tram was operating a short route from the museum to New Regent Street via Cathedral Square. Now the trams are in good shape and ready to hit the road again.

Opinion:
I think having the trams back on the road will be helpful and useful for people that don’t have cars and for people that need to go to work.

Summary:
The movie I enjoyed was called I can do anything by room 12 at Point England school. The first thing they did was spend a lot of time practicing the lyrics and understanding them. They also spent time planning their animations. The drawing of each lyric took a long long time but, they were proud of what they have created.

Opinion:
I think what room 12 have done was awesome. I really enjoyed watching their film for the Manaiakalani festival and it even made me laugh.
