Golden Bat Discovered
Scientists in Bolivia have discovered a new species of bats. The new bat found has been called the golden bat. The bat eats small insects and roosts during the day in holes in the ground and in hollow trees. The bat had been listed as another bat found in South America called Myotis simus. Scientists think the golden bat is the only one of it’s kind. The bat has been recognised by its golden yellow colour and it’s short woolly fur.
